They entertained a generation as part of the extended family of musical performers known as The King Family. But when they branched out on their own, THE FOUR KING COUSINS (consisting of sisters Tina Cole and Cathy Cole Green, along with their cousins Candy Conkling Brand and Carolyn Thomas Cameron), catapulted to fame as acclaimed recording artists, and television and concert performers and their artistry inspired audiences around the world.Throughout the years their concerts engagements brought them to audiences all over the U.S.A,, at top nightclubs and concert halls including performances at the Hollywood Bowl, the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, The Playboy Club and internationally throughout Canada, Tahiti, France and even Japan.Their Capitol Records debut album titled, Introducing the Four King Cousins was released 1968 and upon its CD re-issue in 2006, a new generation of fans discovered the album, deeming it a “sunshine pop masterpiece.” Respected Indie-Music website Dusty Groove reviewed it as “a sublime blend of vocals and lightly snapping rhythms that's totally outta site!” In response, The King Cousins released a 2013 retrospective CD, More Today than Yesterday, featuring previously unreleased tracks of more of their classic interpretations of hits of the 60’s & 70’s. They spent more than two decades as popular performers on television where they shared the stage with a star-studded list of entertainers including Bing Crosby, John Davidson, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Ella Fitzgerald, Jonathan Winters, Johnny Carson, Nancy Sinatra, Ray Charles, Don Rickles and Phyllis Diller. Group member TINA COLE is also a successful actress best known for her portrayal of “Katie” for 5 seasons on the classic sitcom My Three Sons. She was recently awarded the Vanguard Award from the Sacramento International Film Festival for her role in the indie short film See Me. And can be seen in the new PBS MY MUSIC special My Yearbook 1960-1963 as co-host with legendary crooner Bobby Vinton. The Four King Cousins continue to deliver their unique blend of four part harmony and high energy, high-caliber professional entertainment to audiences of all ages.
